A new apartment development located on the site of a disused former riverfront warehouse. To reflect the semi-industrial scale of the former buildings, the proportions of the original have retained but stretched into two long thin projecting volumes to accommodate the new brief. The new building's accommodation is arranged on three stories, orientated to maximise views towards the River Medway. The context within which the new development will sit has been carefully considered and a design response generated that will enhance the area, producing a progressive solution whilst retaining the existing composition and massing of the site.
